We're called More Like The Movies and we're from Minneapolis, MN. We are a full time touring band and we're looking for a lead guitarist and drummer. You can have a listen to us at myspace.com/morelikethemovies
We've released one EP and our writing for our next one that we want to release in June. We spent last summer following the Warped Tour so we've been to most major cities. We have management that also gives us endorsements to most drum companies so we get discounts on sticks, heads, etc. It also gives us discounts for guitar gear from Orange, Mesa and most major manufacturers. Also offers discounts on road cases. We all have tour ready gear and expect you to have or get the same. Our goal is to tour all summer and fall and do whatever it takes to hopefully get signed, whether its through ads, buy ons, etc we will do whatever it takes to achieve our dream and we want to more members that share that view.
Some requirements are, obviously dedication. We want people that want this as much as we do and through that we want two friends that we travel, play and write with. You must have or get tour ready gear so we look professional on stage. We know the industry is very image based and the only way to really succeed is to have great music, but also a sellable image to back it up. We can help you through our management to accomplish this. Ages 18-23 preferably.
