clearly the celtics signing allan ray to the vegas summer league team (and him subsequently averaging 20 points a game there) is the most important.

And considering your ripping the jazz your a titans fan....

Im not ripping the jazz, i just said they wernt very good and it would suck to have that team be the only one to really root for. I doubt Derrick Fisher will be the deciding factor in them making the playoffs, but hey they wernt that far off last year. it could happen, they just wont get very far.

lol man dude get whatever is shoved up your ass out soon, ur upseting the children. Im not sure about this..so i may be wrong..but wernt the knicks THRILLED to have a future hall of fame coach in larry brown come in last year?? That worked out well. They arnt gonna enjoy playing for him when they can barley match that next year. c'mon dude he pulled the trigger to bring "tha franchise" over there when he allready had one ballhoging ego maniac on the team. boy he sure did do a good job in the knicks front office!!! im not the moron, your boy isiah is.

guiding that team to the playoffs wasnt rocket science in a weak east.

how did he lose to the celtics in the first round when the celtics 3rd best player was mark blount?

yeah,

thought so.

by the way....

From 2000 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000-01_NBA_season) to 2003 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002-03_NBA_season), Thomas coached (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_coach) the Indiana Pacers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_Pacers), succeeding Larry Bird (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Bird), who previously coached the Pacers to the NBA Eastern Conference title. Working with the leadership of Reggie Miller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reggie_Miller), Thomas helped bring up young talents such as Jermaine O'Neal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jermaine_O%27Neal), Jamaal Tinsley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaal_Tinsley), Al Harrington (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Harrington), and Jeff Foster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Foster). In his first two seasons with the Pacers, the team was eliminated in the first round by teams that went on to become the Eastern Conference Champions in that year: the Philadelphia 76ers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_76ers) and the New Jersey Nets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Jersey_Nets).
In his last year with the Pacers, Thomas guided them to a 48-34 record in the regular season and coached the East squad at the 2003 NBA All-Star game. The game was also Michael Jordan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jordan)'s final All-Star game. Thomas was criticized for overplaying Jordan during the game as an attempt to make up for their past feud. As the third seed, the Pacers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the sixth-seed Boston Celtics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Celtics). With blossoming talents such as Brad Miller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Miller), Ron Artest (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Artest), Al Harrington (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Harrington) and Jamaal Tinsley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaal_Tinsley), along with the veteran leadership of Reggie Miller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reggie_Miller), the perception existed that the Pacers' unfulfilled potential stemmed from Isiah Thomas' inexperience as a coach. In the offseason, Larry Bird returned to the Pacers as President of Basketball Operations, and his first act was to replace Thomas with Rick Carlisle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Carlisle).
