I got mine done in July '09... and the piercer still says I can't change jewlery yet. If you're lucky it takes 6 months... but for me it's looking like it'll take a year to heal... it such a huge piece of cartilage it's not surprising because of all of it's layers. I love my rook :)

No, I mean you need to pay attention to your surroundings, because every other person knows that my shit is blocked. Everything from google to wiki to facebook. I can literally get onto AIM, my email, and AP.

It's cool, I can't be conceited enough to believe that everyone knows my story. My mom's ex boyfriend got me new internet as gift and then blocked everything. That's the reason I initially joined AP, because it wasn't blocked, lol.

Varies from person to person, could be 3-4 months, could be a year. Depends partly on how often/well you clean it, whether you're bumping it or anything, and just how quickly your body wants to heal. I got my tragus and conch done last June and I still clean them once a day just to be safe.
