Listen, I am not usually one to do a bit of proselytizing, but any chance I have had over the last 3 years, I have done as much as I can for this show. Since season 2 was finally released on DVD tuesday, I have got to plead for you kids, who have the money (if you don't, don't worry about it) to shell out for it (in hopes that HBO will pick it back up, though, that would be some time from now). At BestBuy, this week, they are selling Season 1 for $55, and Season 2 for $65.

burn copies and send them to friends, so that they might share in my loathing of HBO for canning the show.

Fuck HBO, fuck that shitfest Rome, and fuck reel.com for giving season 2 two stars.

never watched this show, but the amount of dvd/blu-ray buys of rome indicate to me that hbo does not bring back previously canceled shows even if sales are incredible.

rome was a shitfest? my personal opinion is that it's in the top 5 of greatest shows ever aired on television.

Not only was Rome a pretty shitty show, it killed at least two great HBO shows.
