Absolutely great band. Their debut album comes out March 1st and it's called "Tourist History". Their first single is called "Undercover Martyn" and can be heard on their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/twodoorcinemaclub
They're often considered "electro pop", however I just find them awesome. Upbeat and enjoyable. Check em out!

Added these dudes to my college station last week. Sort of like The Bravery meets Ben Gibbard's voice

Gibbard's voice with the music of every other band who's 'alternative'.

No.
Yes, especially in the places that aren't the chorus. Not saying it's bad, but from that video, it just sounds kind of generic.

It's not. Listen to it all before you judge.

It still sounds pretty generic to me, but whatever.

Can't judge until you've given a real listen. Simple. They're enjoyable and if you're going to call them generic, then every band out there is generic these days.

I listened to like 2 or 3 more songs on YouTube and I didn't say they were bad or that you can't like them or anything, it just sounds like a generic band to me.

I'm just saying, if this is so "generic" so is just about every band out there right now.

What aspect of this band sets them apart from other bands? There isn't one, the vocals, song writing, instruments, etc. are all very similar to other bands. I'm not trying to shit on this band or anything, but just realize that you can like a band without thinking that they're the greatest fucking thing ever or even that original.

I just find it annoying when people flip out the "generic" card as if every band out there is 100 percent unique, which just isn't the case. That's all. But you have your opinion and I have mine. The end.

Someone just told me aboot these dudes, catchy ass tunes. It seems like most indie hipster bullshit bands are from the ol UK.

The Bravery was the first band I thought of when I heard them as well. Really love them. "Cigarettes In The Theater" has been receiving constant play recently around my house.

Can't argue with that logic :-d
Still, seeing them at Leeds Festival in August, then catching their headline date in Sheffield in September, can't wait!

Anyone else watch them on Fallon? They were decent but not as good as some of the times I've seen them on youtube.

These guys are sick. I watched them on Fallon just now, performing "What You Know."
Definitely had to grab the song and put it on the iPod, haha. Gonna' get their album most likely.

Bump.
Was just thinking about this track and thought I'd share it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTIUynprvsA. It's a new song titled 'Handshake'. It is a live version, but it's pretty damn good quality. I assume it'll be on their upcoming album (which I can barely wait for, by the way).
