I've only heard good things about the new record so far from those who've listened. I'm also surprised there's no thread already for The Forecast. Their first two albums, especially Late Night Conversations are great.

I talk everyone in the Forecast on twitter and Dustin said that the vinyl version of the new album won't be available until late march, but he did say "sorry, but i promise it's coming"

It was the song "And We All Return to Our Roots" off of In the Shadow of Two Gunmen. Great song. It got a lot of play on Fuse; back when Fuse was good.

I really like "I'll Set You Free". The song speaks to me, plus I love the bumping rock-rhythms. It's a fun track. I love the whole album, though, so this could change as the album is so fresh.

I love that track. In the video he pretends like the acoustic part can be played on a tele. It's kind of amusing.

And yeah. And my love for the two if them has me spinning the whole record on LaLa.

I can't believe I've never checked these guys out. I've had "And We All Return to Our Roots" in my iPod forever, but I never listened to any of their other music. Talk about a huge fucking mistake. I checked out their new album and I love it, especially "Double on the Rocks" and now I'm downloading all of their music. So, so good. I can't believe I almost missed out on them.

The more I listen to the album, the less interested I become. Which makes me sad because I really love everything they've released, but the songs run together a lot, and become extremely hard to distinguish, unlike their earlier stuff, particularly Late Night Conversations.

Album did the exact opposite for me. When I first listened, I wasn't interested and thought the songs blended together; now, it's my favorite album by them. :shrug:

They do play a lot of their new songs but the also play some of their classics. You should go they are great live! So fun!
