sleeping all morning really isn't agreeing with me. I'm going to go watch the encore.
I was suprised when TNT didn't bleep out Tiger drpping f-bombs on the encore yesterday.

shut the fuck up...honestly.
We've discussed every major tournament from golf on this forum...if you have a problem with it, well go away then.
Woods is playing much better than I was expecting...Montie is tanking as usual, and Mickelson is pulling out the driver every chance possible, even when it's not the play.
I;m beginning to think Mickelson's entire notion of his game is "get it within 50 yards and use my great short game"

Tiger has really been impressive. DiMarco was going to be one of my picks, although I didn't put him down because he had missed cuts recently. But now I know his mom died. I've always been a DiMarco fan.
I was surprised at how well Ernie Els was playing. I thought the knee injury was still lingering.

Woods is due for a major, I knew he would win this.

rick reiley recently wrote a good article about tiger and phil. compared tiger to a tiger, knowing when to pounce and when to sit back.
and compared watching phil golf to watching a drunk guy trying to catch a balloon on a cliff, you just hope he gets it under control before things get ugly.

hahahah...
Yeah, I was bored at work today, thinking about it, and I was watching when I came home...and on the 2nd, he pulls out the driver and the announcer (may have been Johnny, I forget who is commentating) says "That's not right...he's got to clear two bunkers with that". He made the shot, but it was one of those things where you know if the announcer is shocked by the choice, it might be the wrong club.

watch out of els. his knee looks fine, he's not blocking shots anymore.
and to anyone who says golf isn't a sport- the body goes through the same stress, if not more, during the golf swing than during the pitching motion (note i said BODY, not arm...if you swung the golf club with one arm all round it would hurt too). if you make the proper (not a hacker all arms) swing, play a full round and your muscles aren't used to it, you will be sore for a week.

Els may be healthy, but when was the last time he looked across the tee box at tiger and outplayed him?

good point. i like the fact that tiger is hitting 2 and 3 irons everywhere. as long as he's hitting the former 260, 270, he should do it more often- like on american courses that aren't ridiculously burnt out. i watched els' round today, though, and he's striking the ball as good as he ever has.

yeah. i'd like to see els and tiger go shot for shot all weekend long.
I'd like to see a little guy win it. Someone like the Mike Weir's of the crowd
