the animation looks like something between CGI and claymation. the textures on the buildings and streets as well as the textures that make up the turtles look Pixar-quality, if not better. Hopefully the voice acting doesnt ruin this potential nerd's wet dream.

i recently netflixed the original cartoon, and it bought back memories like whoa. anybody with netflix, i highly recommend it.

What I don't understand are you people who go on and on about how great the cartoon was (is) and then in the SAME BREATH are pissed because this new movie is animated. How does that even happen? So they're not some rubber costumes in the movie...big f'n deal! Were you pissed that they didn't use real toys in Toy Story and Toy Story 2?

No kidding. I was on the edge of my fucking seat when I started watching this trailer, thinking they were going for a more honest and faithful representation of the original stories. Then Michelangelo dropped in, so it'll probably be the same as it always was. Still, I'm looking forward to this.

The way I see it, the cartoon was THE best cartoon ever created (and just slightly better than the films).... thefore, this being animation will be amazing.
