"Autumn Snow"

I wrote this a while ago, one of my first poems I've ever wrote. I've grown a lot since then in terms of writing, but I thought I'd share, I would love feedback, thanks:

"Autumn Snow"

Fighting an internal war
But you wiped my tears away
Then I'll start crying for you
Because I wish you would have stayed
I guess life doesn't work that way

Soon it'll all come to an end
Let's hold on to what we still have
Though its true when they say
All good things never last

It's like heaven when I'm in your bed
But it's like hell when those thoughts
Go through my head
I always cry in Autumn
Begging you please, let us not change like the leaves

It is snowing in Autumn
Believe me, it is true
Thats how I know what we have is love
Give me another sacrifical chance
Please do not let it pass

I never use to be afraid of death
Until my life had meaning, as I kiss you
On your olive skinned chest
I want to hold hands in the rain with you
Each moment we're getting closer
Let us have our adolescent fun, before death looms

That line is very similar to a song that I've written.
