any suggestions? my price limit is around $250. so far the line 6 floor pod plus and digitech rp350 seem like two of the best.
PODX3. Helps in every way.

USED podX3, or otherwise get a used PodXT Live - they were used for 250 around 3 years ago, so they'll definitely be cheap. Don't waste your time with the floor pod, it's too watered down. The PodXT live is older, but still has way more features and better control than the floor pod plus.

the line 6 m13 is the only thing you could consider "multi effects" that isn't a waste of time. although the pods can be decent if you're looking for amp modeling as well.

TC Electronics G Sharp - $150
Me and one of my guitarists use a POD Floor Plus. It's got some interesting stuff... but it does sound very digital. I wouldn't use any of the amp models on that, but I don't mind just using the delays and choruses, in conjunction with a good tube amp. All the clean tones and distortion come mainly from the amps we use... but even then, the POD does sometime rob you of your tone despite you putting it on bypass in terms of amp modeling.
But as for now, it's too expensive for me to buy all the pedals I accumulated over the years and got robbed of at a show... so it'll have to do.
