I just got home from seeing it. It was amazing. Halfway through I was like this sort of sucks and doesn't hold a candle to the original, but then seconds later I was like 'this is amazing.' By the end, I decided it was a better movie than the original, but no where near as original and without a great script. It also left out the best part of the original, but it was a hollywood movie so it couldn't have an unresolved, or unpleasant, ending.

don't bother if you didn't like the first (unless you like kevin's other movies, and just have some strange aversion to clerks).

as for me, i'm gonna go with the consensus and say that i loved it. this is the kevin smith i've been missing since dogma. i have absolutely no idea where he goes from here though, because it's pretty clear from the film (if you can read between the lines) that he doesn't want to do anything else except make view askew movies, but he sorta closed the book on them with this one...

The first trailer was looking shitty. The next few looked funny. I wasn't sure if Kevin Smith was ruining his legacy. I saw it this morning and I was very happy with the final product. The only thing that bothered me is that there are funny scenes and plot progressing scenes no real mix.

Overall I loved it adn will probably see it again really soon

I saw it tonight. The kid Elias is almost exactly like someone I work with, so I was cracking up the whole time. It totally surpassed my expectations. Fantastic movie. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

During the end credits Kevin had a bunch of notes, and one of them said "Jay and Silent Bob will be back in the future, but for now are taking a rest." or something along those lines.

That movie was very entertaining and surprisingly touching. I think I enjoyed it overall more than the original, even though that was for all intents and purposes a classic comedy.

I saw it on friday...hilarious. i came kinda late, i walked in when jay had his ass on the window. Randal was the best character, he had the funniest lines. The LOTR vs Star wars was the best scene
