If you really want to see a movie and you've been waiting forever, but none of your friends want to go (no matter how much you drag) - Do you just go see it alone?

i don't wanna talk at the movies anyways, so what's the difference?

I've seen a few movies alone, one of them being "Austin Powers: Goldmember" for the second time.

I am stuck in the city for a while, so I ended up watching three movies alone in a one week span; Click, Superman Returns and You Me And Dupree. It was good for the passing of time, but never again.

I've done it before, it doesn't really bother me.

Over the last year, I have seen 50 movies alone at the cinema, and 3 with other people.

I prefer to go alone so I can make my own opinions, bot have people talking or going to the toilet throughout or bugging me.

I also usually go to the cinema in the late morning/early afternoon on a weekday so as to avoid large ammounts of people packing up the cinema

I've done it for Finding Neverland. Almost had to for Brokeback Mountain but I talked my friend into it.

I'll usualy go early in the day at the first showing so I don't feel like a douche. I don't know why I do but when I went to Finding Neverland alone I felt sad. Oh well, great film.

i have never done it, but i think i am going to have to start going alone because all my friends would rather just sit around and whine about being bored. Then, when I offer a movie suggestion, its "we dont want to spend any money" then, 10 minutes later "damn, im bored." Sorry, rant over. Long story short, i will probably see Clerks II by myself this weekend.

Yeah, I wanna see Clerks II. Most my friends do though. That's something you need to see with a big group.

Yeah...i saw Lady in the Water, Big Fish, and I forget what else by my self.

I like seeing it with my friends who are film literate becuase we point out little things from time to time, but I have no problem seeing movies by myself

Going alone is better, especially when you're friends are all assholes like mine. They love to talk during movies and leave early and stuff. I'd rather watch the whole movie by myself.

i do it fairly frequently. it used to bother me, but i got tired of waiting for people's schedules to work out, and i realized how stupid it is to wait for dvd to see a movie i want to see just because none of my friends in the area do. besides in those cases i was just gonna watch the damn thing by myself on my tv 4 or 5 months later, so what's the difference?

I don't think I've ever gone to the movies alone. That's pretty lame.

In my opinion, I think the only movies you actually NEED to see with a friend or friends, are comedy movies. They make the movies better.

I usually end up buying it or seeing it at a friends house or seeing it on tv a year later.
