So, I'm only halfway through, but holy shit this sounds exactly like a light rock 80s R&B album. That's basically all I listen to when I listen to the radio (lite rock is basically the only thing worth finding on the radio) and this brings back so many memories of growing up and the present as well.

I am really surprised, I think this is great.

They listen to a lotta R&B and 80s music and some reggae. Ask Travis about Hall and Oates. He'll go on for hours about them.

Yeah, I read in AltPress about Travis' infatuation with old school R&B music from the late 70's-early 80's. I think that is so cool, and very refreshing.

I pray these guys blow up, because they've got so much potential to be something special. And I think this just might be the trick.

I know, it's great, as Mel stated, it's all Travis listens to. Anyways, this album has grown oh so much on me and I really enjoy it.

I think the song with William Beckett of the Academy Is... will win fans over as well. But the song with Patrick will be the real hit.

someone said that a song sounds like "jesus walks"...a lot of travis lyrics relate to older stuff, like "wrote a song about it, like to hear it, hear it go"...is what a character on in living color used to say...and "taxi driver" is similiar to an old song by the Rza...
