first off let me tell you that this is not full on venom, but rather eddie brock in mid-transformation, so don't come back here and kill me when you're disappointed. it's at the official spiderman 3 website (http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/spiderman3/site/). just look at wallpaper #2 under "desktop". apparently venom was shown in his entirety in the preview footage shown at the san diego comic-con today, and word is that he looks exactly like he does in the comics. hopefully we'll be getting a look at that soon.

plus, it all depends on the actual origin of the suit. i'm not sure how they symbiote is created in the film. they're comparing the origin to the blob.

that's what it relies on most though. in the comic, carnage made sense. depending on how different the movie is, carnage may not make a lick of sense.

Word. Carnage wasn't that strong of a character by himself to be a villain in the movies and the amount of CGI they'd have to use on him would be ridiculous and I would be scared he'd end up looking super fake like Ghost Rider does. Sure he was "badass" or whatever at times, but he was like a wanna be Venom. And honestly, who wants that when we've already got (what looks to be) an amazing job done with Venom. I can't wait.
