it is pretty creepy. there was a lot of good about it. i'm actually gonna check it out in theaters too. i really liked it.

I downloaded this a while ago and I thought it was okay. I wasn't super impressed with it or anything, but it was a good thriller.

I suppose I didn't quite get the end though....

she didn't really have a choice. there was no way out of the cave. after she fell, that realization hit her. she was also delirious by this point. so why not spend what time she had left with her daughter? if that makes any sense.

Yea, I guess the ending was sort of open to interpretation. I mean, not completely, but at least somewhat.

I didn't think this movie was that scary or made you jump much after you finally saw what the things were for the first time.

i liked it, because even when it wasn't trying to be scary, it was still intense. even a lot of the shit down there before the things showed up was very chilling, to me at least. like, you weren't sure exactly what was going to happen. i liked that about it. then the things showed up and i liked it even more.

i read something today that made it seem as though the ending in the us theatrical release is the opposite of the overseas release.

that'd be real fucking lame if it's true. i thought the ending was perfect.

yeah, from what I know, the US version version is slightly shorter. not sure what the changes are but I think instead of it cutting to her back in the cave it stops wherever she is before that. not sure where that is (car with juno?) because she hallucinated she'd escaped right?

I should probably watch this again so I know what I'm talking about.

Compared to SAW and HOSTEL, which they keep comparing it to, is this movie bloodier? Is there more gore? Which is more badass in terms of people getting fucked up?

i don't even see how they can make those comparisons. the movies are not alike one bit.

i liked this one better than both of those, but that's not much help to ya because they're completely different kinds of movies.
