having trouble writing a guitar part

i'm having trouble writing one of my songs.

i made an alternate picking line for the verse but i want chords for the chorus and i can't come up with anything that sounds good.

if anyone could help or has any ideas that'd be great.

You could play the chords C, Em/C, Am, F if you wanna take the easy route.

if you're looking for something to play directly off the riff in the verse, just something simple like A#, F, G would be the according notes (or close to it)

edit- if you wanna switch the chorus up try like Fmaj7 (sounds difficult, but it's really easy) C, G. i think those chords sound really well together personally
