My senior year was my coming-of-age year and one of the best years of my life in discovering who I am and discovering that my friends are my life. The whole year in my favorite class we focused on existentialism, and at the end of the year I gave a speech on this song, it defining my year and how my friends and I skipped prom to go to a show. I'm pretty sure I cried in front of the class. Really lame story, but I'm glad to see someone else appreciated the meaning in this album as I do.

Aw haha that's really sweet actually. I'm currently in my senior year right now and have revisited a lot of this record and it's funny how it still hits me, but in a different way, than when I was younger. Existentialism is an incredibly powerful song.

The lyrics are incredibly hilarious, but there's an actual message behind it saying that no matter how much you think your life sucks, there's always gonna be other people who feel the same way.
