Eighteen Visions (http://www.eighteenvisions.com)' video for "Tonightless" can be found right here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kQRIdJIXR0&search=eighteen%20visions). The bands new self-titled record is in stores now.

This video is so cheesy. I love this band, and their new record though.

It's probably their worst album, but it still has a few catchy songs. 'Tonightless' is an amazing song, though. And the album is still worth the purchase as a summer rock album.

question, are the rest of the songs on this cd like this one, or more like victim? because victim really sucks and this one is okay...

Just saw this video today on "Tattoo Stories" on FUSE. Very cool video and they seem like very cool guys. Hadn't heard them before this. Good stuff.

I love this album. It's unabashed 80's hair metal with that 'scene' edge. I mean seriously, what's going on with that song Broken Hearted! That's Def Friggin' Leppard right there! Anyway, great band. Comparable to A7X but a much more enjoyable album than 'City of Evil'.

are you kidding me? this cd is so gay... based on eighteen visions old records... they sold out....

yeah... those records they released nearly 10 years ago... fucking sellouts. who progresses these days? everyone knows a good band never, ever, changes their sound based on the kind of music they want to play... only playing what their super-scene, super-judgmental holier-than-thou fans want to hear. it's pretty ridiculous. if a band stays the same and every record has the same style, they get critiqued for being boring and never changing it up. if a band decides to go in another direction, they've sold out.

people change. 18V has been around since like 1995. playing the same style of music gets old, unless you're fucking rush or some shit. tons of bands change their style, but it seems they're only selling out if it happens to go from some alternative genre to something more radio-friendly. just because something is catchy doesn't mean they wrote it to get radioplay.

all i ask is to save us from useless "they sold out" comments. everyone knows they changed their sound. i doubt you know their motives for doing so, so keep it to yourself. if you don't like them anymore, don't listen to their new cds and don't read their news articles. i'm not standing up for the band, i think the new record's terrible too, but i just don't care to hear whether or not every fanboy thinks they're sellouts now. not much else to tell you.

I was definitely surprised by this record, but I love it. Especially as I listen to it more.

Does anyone else still find it ironic that the so-called "Best Of 18v" Album released way back in 2001, still is the best stuff they ever did?

actually they were progressing towards this sound WAY before they signed to Epic and released Obsession.

get over it. it rules.

yea.. definitely sold out. now they're all poppy since they are getting ALL THAT airtime on the radio and big record company promotions...

It's a great album. Good for the car. Good for the gym. Good for getting ready to head out to the bar. Good for meeting that chick out for a blind date. I dig it. I love how a lot of these so-called metalcore bands are basically just turning into straight metal bands. I wouldn't be surprised if Atreyu's next album just drops all the hardcore influences all together.

Maybe i'll check this record out.
