first two records were on eyeball, new one is on some major label imprint made to look like an indie label thing, the second record is still the best by far.

I think their new album is their most brilliant work to date.
Such an original sound, even though you can def. hear the Cursive and dark-Western influences.

Funny thing is, their celloist's favourite band? Iron Maiden.

I don't know if she still plays it, but back in '03 her cello was covered in the artwork of an Iron Maiden album, and it's name was Eddie [IM's mascot]

they used to be called Little Joe Gould...they had an album called l"ike an exorcism, but with more break dancing"... they used to play small new mexico venues quite often, which allowed me to see them for free three times. In my book, "I'm Afraid of Whose Afraid of Virginia oWoolf" is a superior song...the piano line is haunting. "Tango is Fucking Easy" rocks as well

In Bocca Al Lupo is still a tight album. They just have so much good material.

Exactly. I always thought of them as what Johnny Cash would sound like if he started an indie rock band. These guys are amazing though, they get better with each listen. Haven't had the chance to check out this amazing live show I keep hearing about though.
