Mine would probably be Musicology 123- Intro To Popular Music. We learned about the history of popular music starting with Tin Pan Alley era music and minstrelsy, all the way up to Kanye West.

environmental philosophy. or intro to poetry

in environmental philosophy
one day we were talking about if trees should have rights (it was in one of our readings). The author said that babies have rights, so trees should (it's a lot more complicated than that, but whatever). Someone pointed out that trees shouldn't have rights because you can't build a house out of babies.

so we proceded to explain how you can build a house out of babies. we drew diagrams, took up probably the last half hour of the class explaining this theory.

we also talked about how awesome sharks are, called various authors douchebags, watched really awesome videos online, complained about bush, whatever.

in poetry, we spent an entire day talking about how awesome Rush is. This one guy would randomly bust out these awesome raps (he really should have recorded himself. he was amazing). I got to make fun of people for writing horribly while writing awesome poems about robots and getting good grades for it. and once the teacher took us out for pizza instead of having class.

In high school, I had an awesome art teacher. Oh, the art room, how I miss thee.

All my college classes have been amazing thus far. My History class was interesting because the prof. knew all these random and fun facts about the historical figures. It was never boring. The prof. always used to stop and talk about punk, ska, and Futurama too. Amazing class, amazing prof. I wish I could've taken more classes with her.

I had an Intro. to Mass Comm. class that was pretty cool. We covered every form of media and the social changes each one brought about. It was an amazing class.

journalism for sure. i took it by accident my freshman year and now thats pretty much what i want to do with my life. i might not have liked it as much if it weren't for my teacher. she rules so much; we go to the same shows sometimes and we love all the same bands...and she lets us order in mexican every friday in the publications room. which is a big plus.

History of Rock and Roll.

36 weeks of starting in the 1940's and going through a time travel learning about all the classic music of my dad's time. If not for that class, I would not love oldies as much as I do today.

my favorite class i have taken thus far in college has been speech, believe it or not. i enjoyed getting up in front of people and sharing my beliefs and views on certain subjects. the best speeches were the persuasives. close second is intro to interior design, we do a shit ton of awesome projects.

i really, really liked biochem lab although it has this reputation of being extremely difficult. the workload was kind of a pain because there was always something due (pre-lab, post-lab, exam), but i got a lot out of it technique-wise & actually had some fun.

History of Film- learned about the many genres of movies, and watched them as well as have review assignments and script writing, we even had some sample editing

8th Grade Advanced Art hahaha. Our art teacher was huge hippie, and was just so insouciant, and very much of a hands on leaner.
We could all sit on our desks, take off our shoes, eat, bring instruments, and we'd paint on the tabels and cabinets, she would always tell us stories and let us listen to our c.d playets.

politics and media industry

they both required to read the newspaper every single day and that's something i usually didn't do. but now i can't live without it, its good to know what's going on in the world because most of it has some kind of repercussion on your life.

History of Rock. After that, probably History of Architecture. My engineering classes were fun but it usually had more to do with the people in the class than it did with the subject matter.
