He can't afford it. Trump has no cash. It's all smoke and mirrors.

And if he bought the cubs i'd flip out. it would be horrible. I hope Cuban buys them or something. I'd want a good owner.

Yea, I thought Trump's "wealth" was made up of all investors money? I just want to see the poor Cubs win a championship.

It pretty much is, plus he owns next to nothing.
I'd also prefer an owner who would shake the players' hands. I don't want Howard Hughes as my team's baseball owner.

Trump can turn it into a reality show. "The Apprentice: The End of Dusty Baker." It can be a 12 week show where he picks the new Cubs manager.

I like the way you think.
Right after I bumped this to the first page I was thinking about it. I was like the next season of the Apprentice would definately allow the winner to manage the Cubs.

they lost tonight. Kenny Rogers is continuing his bad 2nd halfs again this year it seems. :shrugs: he's now like 24-26 after the all star break the last like 6 years. but we were down 7-0 and came back to lose 12-7 after making it 8-7. oh well, still a 7½ game lead because i'm pretty sure the white sox lost.

go mariners?

p.s. how's the label going? weren't you releasing the hard copy of Sherwood's free ep?
