Halo Legends

So as a gamer and sci-fi junkie, I'm really fucking excited to start watching this. Apparently it's like the Animatrix in the sense that a bunch of anime directors made a series of short films about the Halo universe. I've always held the story and aesthetic of the Halo games in extremely high regard, so I'm pretty pumped for this.

Has anyone had a chance to watch it yet?

It's alright. I enjoyed the first two, then the next couple were just kinda meh. There's a pretty funny, almost Dragonaball Z-esque one. I haven't watched the last two yet. A lot of the stories don't really tell anything new about the plot as a whole, sometimes adding in irrelevant new details. But they're all entertaining.

Edit: You also finally get to see what Forerunners look like. I was pretty pumped about that.

I'm kind of eh about it with it being all anime like. I wish it was done in a style like Resident Evil: Degeneration.

They have a somewhat human profile. Let me clarify - You see the Forerunners, but they are wearing full-body outfits/helmets. You don't actually see their bodies, but they are clearly meant to be similar to humans. They look pretty hardcore.

I never really saw the forerunners as humanoids, but i actually watched this last night and was pretty stoked when the showed them.
