Now. Everything I listed above will be up for grabs. I'm going to post some questions. Contest ends at 10 FRIDAY NIGHT. Each winner will win 1 item of their choosing, in the order they won. Assuming anyone wants any of the stuff that's left over, we'll see what we can do with it. Maybe just give it away first come first serve. I don't know.
I'm fine mailing it out, but I wouldn't mind getting back shipping. I'm not ebay here, so I'm not going to fuck you to ship it.
okay, questions.
1) At CPAC 2009, I was in the bathroom at a urinal next to some prominent speaker. Some guy walked up to him, while pissing, and wanted to shake his hand. Who was the Speaker?
2) At CPAC 2010, I met one prominent Fox News personality. We had an interesting debate about the Coakley campaign. Who was this personality?
3) Who did I get a signed book from this year? Should more than one person get this one, since it's kind of easy, there will be a Bonus tie breaker. Name people I got signed books from last year.
4) At CPAC 2010, the College Republicans broke into a random song on the Metro. Name the song.
5) College Republicans smoke cigars in front of what Washington monument as a yearly tradition?
Answers in the thread. All but the third one is first post, first win. No edits.
Good luck!

1) Tim Pawlenty
Still not quite sure how someone thought it would be a good idea to shake the hand of a pissing man.

I thought I might have mentioned that before. Good catch. My friend met Ron Paul in the bathroom this year and got him to sign his constitution. When we ridiculed him for that, his story changed to the hallway outside of the bathroom. Hm.
Pick one. You won. I assume the Ron Paul DVD?

haha in his defense, if I met Ron Paul in the bathroom I probably wouldn't shake his hand but I would get his signature for sure.
And yeah, I'll take the DVD if you don't mind. Really cool that you're doing this for us liberals, haha. I'll PM you my address, and if you tell me how much shipping was I'll mail you some cash money to cover it.

Yeah. To be honest, I felt kind of out of place there. A bunch of people were talking about how it felt so good to be around people that believed the same thing as you and didn't critcize you for being conservative. I felt like it was really just a neocon gangbang. Social issues are more important to me than fiscal issues, so in that regard, I feel like I'd fit in more at a liberal activist event.
They gave me two of the dvds, and the second I got the second one I thought of you.
I don't take part in that tradition, but it is an awesome one. We made a pit stop on our way there this year, so I actually didn't stay very long. Too drunk. Fun stories though.

I could understand that. I feel like I would feel comfortable there if it was less neocon, more libertarian. I mean, I know you said before that there's a strong libertarian presence there but it still seems like there's a lot of neocons there. I was watching Ron Paul's speech and you could totally tell who in the audience was a neocon and who was a libertarian based on who was applauding. Like, when Paul talked about what a real conservative foreign policy was, and talked about how we should never have been involved in Iraq, the first three rows or so stayed seated and kind of rolled their eyes and folded their arms, and the rest of the room stood up and shouted/applauded, haha.
They gave me two of the dvds, and the second I got the second one I thought of you.
haha it's nice to know that my unabashed love for Ron Paul hasn't gone unnoticed. I would never vote for him but goddamn I love him.

The Libertarian Party didn't bother showing up this year. I was shocked. Groups like C4L and YAL were there and had a big presence, but the libertarian parties absence said a lot.

Really? How odd. Why do you think they didn't come? Just out of disgust with most of the speakers there?
