I'm currently in a graduate program seeking my initial teaching certification in Mathematics for secondary schooling. The emphasis of the entire program is based on inquiry learning/constructivism. This is my second semester in the program and I've loved everything about it so far. I think that steering away from traditional lecture-based classrooms is definitely the way to go, and was wondering if there are any other proponents of this approach to learning or if anyone else has any experience or input.
