Hey guys! I will be interviewing the guys in The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (http://absolutepunk.net/artists/showlink.php?do=showdetails&l=2993&catid=searchresults&searchid=542140) soon. If you have any questions, you know how we do it, leave them in the replies and they will most likely be asked. Thanks!

What prompted the change of many lyrics and editing out of screaming of certain tracks?

Also, Slackers is a great flick! Awesome avatar.

Ask them what they feel about bands that jump on what's popular in order to make a name for themselves?

Oh wait...

virgin records. what none of you realize is that this band isn't underground anymore, and when they were it wasnt for that long. as for the people saying they are hopping on the bandwagon, do you seriously think they started the band saying "lets play music a lot of people will like, get signed to virgin records, and become huge in a few weeks out of nowhere without staying true to ourselves." did it ever occur to any of you maybe they made this music because they like it and they just got extremely lucky to get picked up so early without establishing a huge "scene" following.

personally id like to know where the name came from and who wrote their bio on PV. its kinda lame.

Yeah I want to know why a lot of screaming was taken out.....they seemed to scream so much more when I saw them open for The Starting Line

they still screamed quite a bit when saw them a few weeks ago. they just dont scream on the cd. its more acessible. as with the changing of ass shaker to in fates hands.

i would like to know whats up with those crazy ass girls that follow to pretty much every show they play? does the band ever get annoyed? (the girls say theyve seen them 35+ times)

Where the heck can i get the audio track of "Face Down" that is in the video? And do they regret not spending more time "underground" due to being criticized by "scenesters"?

Ask them why they have such a big ego problem when they are in thier hometown jacksonville?

and , what do you guys think about getting crap from people, cause you spent no time actually putting in real hard work like most dedicated bands out there on the road in vans every day and just getting snatched up by virgin instead?

Ask them why on their video for "Face Down", the version on their myspace includes the screaming part, while the version they are playing on mtv does not include the screaming part.

ask them how it feels to "get lucky" and get big without putting in any real work such as riding in vans for years like most bands do. like is it an empty feeling or do they not care that they didnt really "earn" all the success and money they are getting now?? and do they feel bad for all those other bands out there who have put in way more work than them and are way better but yet will prob never get to be as big and rich as them? do they feel guilty or are they laughing all the way to the bank? and how does it feel to be the "next big thing" that will be gone in 6 months? i hope at least one of those gets asked cause i am pretty serious in asking those ?'s.

Does thier newest released song have a direct connection to a personal experience of thiers?

just_peachy
07/26/06, 07:12 PM
or any of their songs for that matter

also, because of their "instant" success, will they do anything to help bands that are struggling to make it big?

wow some of you guys are so harsh. i've seen rja twice (i enjoyed both shows) and they are down to earth boys. i think they deserve what they've got. most of the time demos are different than when on the actual cd.

yeah ask them how mtv found them. im interested to know.

ask them how they managed to match the shittiness of their music with the shittiness of their band name

What does thier song writing process entail?
How has thier lives changed from being a small unknown band to being on MTV and Virgen Record?
How dedicated are they to thier fans?

man you speak the truth. the funnything is

ask them this

Do you relize that you are going to make no money from this first record since you have no prior record label managers or any real big built fan base? Are you scared that being on a major record label first is going to screw you over in the long run? Do you fear becoming that one hit wonder?
