So I really wanna get a new keyboard. I have a MicroKORG right now, and it's great and all, but I really wanna take a step up and try something new. I'll be keeping my KORG, of course, but yeah.

Right now I'm torn between two choices:
The MOOG Little Phatty Stage II:

and the Nord Lead 2X:

Any suggestions as to which one is better? I'm primarily playing pop / punk / alternative whatever. Really I'm looking for great leads and tone. They're both around the same price of $1,300.

Also: keep in mind... the Nord is red...

Is your playing style similar to Jesse of Motion City Soundtrack at all? If so, definitely go with the little phatty.
I would also consider a Roland Juno G. I have one and I've been very impressed with all the patches, and I need something its size because I do a lot of heavy piano work. But it sounds like you just want something nice and small that has a good punch to it.
