My cousin is the mascot for the Port St. Lucie Mets (of the Florida State League). On days where he doesn't work, he's allowed to sit in the dugout and stuff. He's also allowed to attend practices and help out. He talks to Gary Carter, who's their manager, and he mentioned that my whole family are really big Mets fans. So Gary Carter signed some baseballs and some game worn hats and my cousin is going to mail them to me this week. Also, Gary Carter signed a ball to my mom "Glad w'ere in the same family!" because my mom's maiden name is Carter.

I thought that was pretty cool, I guess my cousin's job isn't so lame after all.

I'd love to be the equipment manager for a pro sports team, that'd be sick

yeah. it was my brother and his like 3 of his friends, so 4 people in total and like 4 hours before the game they went down to the locker room, the trainer's room, the workout room, and the equipment room and he gave them giftbags that they give to different representives and shit but many of them don't take them, and it's filled with like $1500 worth of team merch. like a track jacket, hats, running shorts, windbreaker pants and coats, sweat shirts, t-shirs, long sleeve t-shirts and shit. then they went to the bar after the game across the street with the guy and the guy shit talked fedorov for being a big prick and the only one to not participate in voluntary morning skates despite a guy with a broken foot skating. then rick nash came over, sat and talked with them and baught them all drinks and everyone was coming up to him for autographs and buying him and a couple other young players drinks, too. he said it was fucking sweet.

Howard Johnson's daughter went to my grammar school. I was the HUGEST HoJo fan as a kid. I went to a super tiny Christian school which doesn't even exist anymore, so I figured that since the school was so small, I had a good chance of eventually seeing him.

Than, one day, I did. He was just hanging out in the gym talking to a couple other parents. So what do I do? Freak out, turn around, and never go near him.

I just remember David and Ryan busting the balls of these 2 gay kids from Westminster Academy (Miami, A-Rod's HS).

They asked them if they wanted some of their cheese balls.

i've helped patrik elias, scott gomez, cam janssen (all of the new jersey devils) pick out ipods/accesories and brought john madden's (the hockey player, not the football commentator) computer out to his car.
