So when it says ideal candidate would be in the Tampa area, I'm guessing it's not a remote correspondance job. Too bad I'm moving to texas, that sounds like it would be awesome.

I see this getting A LOT of interest.
That'd be a pretty awesome internship.

Man I hate unpaid internships. Just because you can doesn't make it OK. There should be a law against this.

I would love that job, but unpaid (well, even paid) makes it unworthy to cross the border haha...

Internships should always be unpaid otherwise they call it a "job"

Yeah if I lived over there I'd totally be up for something like this.

Totally agree, especially in the recording industry. Hmmm....we're a little low on cash but need workers...what to do....how about getting some unpaid interns to do web design and create content! We don't have to pay them what would normally be a pretty nice chunk of money since it is an internship! Labels have been abusing this for years. It's a great foot in the door, but they should really be paying some of the more talented interns what they are worth.

There are plenty of paid internships out there.

The thing I hate about unpaid internships is that it forces those of us who don't live in the same area as a label to fork out cash for housing if we want any experience in our field of work. I will end up doing it though.
FBR can afford a paid intership, come on!

I would kill for this intership...too bad I'm nowhere near Tampa. Whatever, if EVR did one it would be easier because Albany is much closer.

Perhaps so...
but they make their quota for paid positions and are offering a service for a fan or someone who really wants to know what the industry is like. I think it's a great way to offer a cool thing to people without making a big wage investment. I wish I would've took an internship like that in college.

i'd say if you can get by with it, do it!
this is an amazing opportunity. the person you are supposed to email is a friend of mine. I've known Adam for upwards of 10 years, when we were little nuts kids crazy about LTJ and him saying one day he wanted to meet them. Years later he got this intern position, and now, he's been a staff member for the past couple of years.
when i talk to him about how perfect his life seems to have went, he agrees, and tells me it's the best thing he's ever done.
