The Higher (http://www.absolutepunk.net/thehigher) have signed with Epitaph Records.
Ladies and Gentlemen...After months of back and forths, push and shoves, and cat and mouse. It's time to tell you the lowdown on this here amazing band we play in. We couldn't be more excited to let you know that our new home is Epitaph records. They are a glorious label and have a wonderful team behind them and it finally feels right. It's like love.
With this exciting statement, we have another one as well. We start preproduction for our record August 1st with producer genious Mike Green.
Let me tell you this new record and team are going to blow your head off (in a total natural way) The record will be released in January. 2007 is the begininng. Prepare for something else. one love

I still cant get over that some kid guessed they would sign with Immortal Records even after being given a clue which was a picture of a tombstone.

this band has no redeeming qualities. much like Cute Is What We Aim For.

seriously bad band. good for them though. I would kill to be on Epitaph.........................wel l, maybe 8-9 years ago anyway no redeeming qualities... you my friend are going to be blow to bits, then, by their new record. histrionics is genius, tom oakes is a genius. this band presents themselves so well... they have it all.

I love their singer's voice. I can't wait for their next album b/c I think Histrionics kicks ass. "Valentine's Delay" is a really good song.

P.S. sherwood is a crappy band and I truly don't understand how they are getting attention. Especially when I went to see them live-nothing special at all. In fact, his voice reminded me of Kris Roe(Ataris)
