I was wondering if anyone knew of any good albums or songs that have fun bass lines in it?
Preferably in Drop C/Half Step Tuning if possible.
I play bass and want to learn some stuff that will help me improve.
Plus I have just switched from a pick to fingerpicking so I need to practice with somethin'

Aerials by System of a Down has a great drop C tuning. It is done with a pick as far as I know but I don't think it really matters. Battleship Scralatchtica by Incubus has a bass line that is a good fingerpicking workout.

You can Also check out Rob Trujillo, Tim Commerford and Troy Sanders. They all play heavy, technical music and don't use a pick.
If you really want to improve your bass playing I suggest playing music that's too hard for you and stay dedicated to nailing it. No matter the genre. If you only play what you like playing you'll never get better. Challenge yourself. Learn new techniques and practice!

Not sure about songs, but KNOW THE FRETBOARD. One of the most important things for bass or guitar for that matter.
I went to a bass clinic with Stu Hamm recently (fancied a little inspiration) and a guy asked what he should be doing to improve on bass, and Stu basically said three points: practise constantly, anything and everything of any style - join a band, two bands, 14 bands - and understand dynamics ^^
It was quite a fun night, it turned into a night of pure comedy.

i know its not what most people want to hear. but listen to hip hop or any music that the song is carried by the bass. obviously you don't have to write parts like that but it opens your ears to what bass can sound like instead of just playing root notes

Learn the fretboard, and challenge yourself to play Rush songs. Not necessarily in that order.
