In this month's issue of Alternative Press, they gave the new HGB record a 5 out of 5.

They give HGB a 5 out of 5, but they give the new Brandtson 2 out of 5. Yea fuckin' right.

defintily doesnt deserve a 5. i really enjoyed their ep and their earlier work, but i find there full length to be boring and not as "fun" or catchy as their ep.

i agree. i'd give this album a 3 out of 5. doesnt do what the ep does for me

they also gave TEN (room's too cold) and Cartel a 2.

Yeah but AP was right about that one, Houston Calls is bad.

Yeah I'd give it 3.5-4, and I absolutely love the EP to death. Definitely no perfection.

I've only listened to 92kbps webrips, but it sounds pretty good.

They should just go back and re-record every song with whoever produced/mixed the EP. Fuck the voice effects... and everything about this CD screams- I hate this word- overproduced.

hmm im pretty sure alt press editors are the ones with the ability to put what they want in their major publication....i guess until any of you get their job youll just have to deal with their reviews. its a great album anyways and theyre doing great for themselves. everyone should check them out on mtv.com and vote them up so they can get into trl's top ten and increase their exposure. or i guess you could just stick with letting justin timberlake and evanescence get all the success....

Exactly, The Houston Calls album is amazing and they gave it only a 2. That is probably the worst review I have read in AP. Trust me, AP is my bible and I read every issue religiously from front to back multiple times so as not to miss an ounce of goodness.

Despite the review, I am still excited for HGB's tour w/ Reggie & The Full Effect, Cute Is What We Aim For & Dave Melillo! How about you?

hellogoodbye is good, but i wouldn't give them a five out of five. more like a three out of five. it wasn't really that great.
