Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy (http://www.falloutboyrock.com) makes a guest appearance on the Misery Signals (http://www.miserysignals.net) track "One Day I'll Stay Home," which is on the bands upcoming album, Mirrors. Don't forget that we have a couple tracks from the album available at the bands AP.net profile (http://www.absolutepunk.net/miserysignals).

Patrick is the new 'go-to' guest star for every band. He and William beckett seem to be on practically every CD coming out these days, haha

This CD is so amazing...everyone needs to buy this. This puts new Underoath to shame.

Why the comparison to Underoath?

Why the comparison to Underoath?
The direction Underoath took on their new CD is much heavier but very melodic. This is how I hear the new Misery Signals. To me, the new Misery Signals sounds like Underoath without Aaron singing. New Misery Signals is deffinately heavier though. I don't know if I made since. Their new singer sounds alot like Spencer.
i like that idea, is there a place to hear that song now?

I just see them as two completely different bands... In sound and in songwriting. That's why I was curious about your statement.

I could only give this album like a 5 because I really hate their new vocalist. However, this band can completly shred.
And yea, that song is awesome, and surprisngly Stump fits in well.

does anyone know if they still play "the year summer ended in june" because it seems like they wouldn't, because it's so personal and stuff.

I don't know if they still play it but it's the best song they've done.
Im kinda dissapointed in this song. Patrick could've done alot better, he sounds almost like James Maynard, which for Patrick Stump, isn't very good.

its no suprise to me...kyle from misery signals was in a band with andy from FOB (project rocket) so im sure thats how it ended up happening. they also played lots of hardcore shows together...7a7p and racetraitor

pete is a fucking tool. i've been following fob since the begining and patrick needs to leave and do something else. his voice is too soulful for this shit now. the rest of the band is worthless. joe never recorded a single guitar track on TTTYG or FUCT. pete can't stop looking at his fucking hands when he's playing bass and joe looks like an asshole on stage. andy at least played with some talented bands before he joined this sloppy shit.

wow. I definately have to disagree. Pete's acting is worse than mediocre. I have seizures everytime I see him attempt to act.
Ew.
that is the weirdest collab i have ever heard. but it sounds like it will be good.
I had the same feeling. Though, Misery had collaborated with FOB members before, so I geuss it's not too suprising.
