Rumor out of portland has the blazers trading Blake, Skinner and Ha for Magloire. I don't know why the Bucks would do this but I've seen it more than one place this morning.

Just because it's not about the Astros doesn't mean nobody cares.

In not just an astros fan. if this wasent about a few mediocre players from bad teams then maybe somebody would care. im pretty sure you dont.

Actually I do because I'm curious to see anything that Portland does this off season. They're like revamping their whole team.

maglorie is one of the ebst big men in the leauge. he'd be a great player for any team to pick up. if the mavericks had him, they might've had more of a chance against miami.

Everyone on the Knicks can play Defense, they just choose not to. See: Stephon Marbury

aren't they trying to move randolf though? perhaps to the knicks even?

they're taking huge strides this offseason. they should be good in a few years. and then the jailblazers may be nothing but recent memory.

I don't think it is going to get done in the offseason though. They want to show that Zach is alright after his injury and that he can still play, so they can get a decent offer for him.

makes sense. i just thought i'd heard the knicks wanting both him and miles, but taking either one of them they could get. and nate rob's name was being thrown in there too. him running the point on that team would be sick. they'd be so fun to watch. they still will be i think. he would just add to it and also add to a nice foundation of young potential stars.

Reports: Bucks dealing Magloire to Blazers for Blake

Milwaukee thought Jamaal Magloire (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3418) was going to be the big man they needed to get over the playoff hump. Portland's now thinking the same thing.
According to reports Saturday in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and The Oregonian, the Bucks have agreed to send the center to the Trail Blazers for point guard Steve Blake (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3741) and backup centers Brian Skinner (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3265) and Ha Seung Jin.
Milwaukee acquired Magloire from the New Orleans Hornets before last season, not long after the Bucks took Utah center Andrew Bogut (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3927) with the first overall pick in the 2005 draft.
The 28-year-old Magloire started all 82 games last year at center and averaged 9.2 points and 9.5 rebounds, with Bogut moving over to power forward. The deal appears to indicate that the Bucks believe Bogut's future is at center.
Magloire has one year remaining on his contract for $8.3 million.
This offseason, the Blazers re-signed center Joel Przybilla (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3408) to a five-year deal. In addition, they acquired Texas big man LaMarcus Aldridge (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=4130) on draft day, so Magloire looks to face more competition for minutes and touches in the Northwest.
The Bucks made a big trade in the offseason, sending starting point guard T.J. Ford (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3711) to the Toronto Raptors (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=tor) for Charlie Villanueva (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3933). Acquiring Blake, who averaged 8.2 points and 4.5 assists last year, offers depth at what had become a thin position.
