Fuck.
Now, that myspace is part of such a huge media conglomerate you'd think they could figure out how to make it actually work.
They ought to stop letting people use those fucked-up third party profile editors. All it does is fuck people's pages up. I have never seen anybody use one of those and actually make it look good. They add those fuckin transparencies, which makes it impossible to read anything, the pages take like 10 minutes to load. Dammit, some people are just ignorant.

so whos the the new singer for finch? are they even together anymore?
They are on "indefinite hiatus" and all members are going to be working on new projects...so chances are we won't be seeing any more of Finch. :(

Maybe it's just my own personal experience, but Nate is the biggest music-related asshole I've ever met.

i wonder how they must feel knowing that if they didnt have to be "diffrent, peculiar, original" and didnt give a big back hand to their fans in the face when they released HELLO SUNSHINE that they could've been very very sucessfull. definatley a bad business move on there part :(. i have no expectations for nates new band but considering he's a very good singer thats the only thing that sparks my interest in it.

listen to you all... 'another what it is to burn'?. If any band would make the same record twice, no matter how good, would be out in my book.
I personally think SHTS was a great album, i still listen to it. Its just a total 180 from what finch fans were used to hearing, thats why it got a bad rap. Had it been a debut album for finch, you would be sweating there nuts worse than panic.

The new stuff is acoustic from what I've heard...
say hello to sunshine was fucking amazing. you are all lame. a man alone is the best song ever, and nate's vocals owned that album.

So basically if they did exactly what most of their closed-minded fans wanted them to do, they would have been successful? Let's throw the fact that personally they wanted to expand their sound out the window. Give me a break. Their debut was fun for a year or so but i'm over it and the only material I listen to by this band now is Say Hello. Grow up with a band or move on but don't give them crap for making a 'different' or 'original' sound.

OK, I like(d) Finch a whole lot, but I've never heard even a single track off of SHTS...
Would it be at least worth my time to check that out? That's all I want to know.

I love "Say Hello To Sunshine" as well. I really don't understand the hate for it, but to each his own.

I like Sunshine just as much as What It Is To Burn, they are both pretty decent albums. Nate's vocals on Sunshine are really great in my opinion.

oh i'm not giving them "crap" for trying to be diffrent, plenty of bands do it after they have established them a good fan base. saves the day happens to be one of my favorite bands and as you know if you listen to them they've continued to change their sound on each album. My argument is that they did a complete 180 from what they sounded like on their second disc, a cd that was much anticipated by fans like me. They tried to rid themselves of lables such as screamo/post-hardcore/emo/whatever they were being called and then shot themselves in the foot. i'm glad they made the album they wanted. i hope it made them happy. if they had progressed on their sound, made an album that they like as well as their fans did and had established a strong fan base then thats when i believe you can toy around with around your sound and make something you truely love. sorry they're not brand new and brand new is few bands who completely changed their sound on the second album(as well as i'm sure plenty of bands have but this is my example) and it worked for them. Clearly that wasnt the case for finch and it sucked to see such a great band break up because if they made it through the bad times they realy could've been something amazing.

Hey Asshole...thats pretty ignorant. SHTS was not as diversly fluid (if you can understand that), not even close to WIITB..so thanks for pretty much giving everyone the finger who has the balls to say something somewhat negative about a band he or she loves. That deosn't mean you have to be so disprespectful to fans by giving the cowardly "so fuck you all" (wow, pretty impressive)
So it "grinds your gears" (really clever). In MY opinion it is an okay album, they might have thought the same thing, and MAYBE broke up because of it. But hey, thanks for telling all of us off with our own opinions, because that is what music is about anyways, right?

I'm rather neutral in regards to finch's second album, but regardless of what I thought of the album, I have to say, the abbrev "SHTS" just always make me laugh. It looks like SH*TS. I dno, just funny XD

it wasnt to be taken seriously you jack-ass. i dont really care what the hell anyone listens to. and i said people who hate it for "the wrong reasons." people who just say it sucks and dont even give any valid reasons why. and i was by no means trying to be clever. its an internet forum and you only have 11 posts here so you obviously dont know how people are on this site. get used to it.
