Jason said it best. Some people are just turned off by anything related to a band they don't like for dumb reasons, even if the band had no hand in doing this whatsoever.

I love Pete, and this is just another funny internet-related item that makes me smile because Pete has gotten to be a highly successful rock star. I think he'd get a big kick out of this, personally.
