Former TREOS member Casey Crescenzo is set to drop his first release under The Dear Hunter (http://www.purevolume.com/thedearhunter) moniker on September 26th on Triple Crown Records (http://www.triplecrownrecords.com). Act I: The Lake South, The River North is a seven-song EP that follows a dawn of the 20th century boy from his creation to his untimely death. Look for him on tour with As Tall As Lions, Cassino and Secret Handshake beginning August 9th in S. Hackensack, NJ at The School of Rock.

I'm almost hoping he does a complete 180 from the sound that TREOS had. I mean, even if it's semi-similar in nature, that's cool too, because Between the Heart and the Synapse was badass. I'd just like to see what else he's capable of, really.

i'm really looking forward to this. He's such a talented guy. i really wana hear some new treos songs without him being in the band. i just wonder who's going to be playing with him as his back up band?
