Well I didn't end up seeing the Owen Pallett concert, BUT I saw Attack In Black with Dom. I was hoping for a better concert, but found myself wanting more out of them. Dom seemed more disappointed than I was tho.

Battles prefers to release tension through emerging beats and grooves, whereas Central Market likes to introduce a theme, build tension through an abrasive transition, and then introduce a variation to the original theme. Very different approaches, and I'd argue the latter tends to be more obscure.

Haha, a question I get all too often. I appreciate that you care though. My plan in college is just to explore and quench as many intellectual curiousities as possible, while discovering on campus, non-academic activities and such. Very vague. A little more in-depth, I'd say I am planning to major in something in the humanities, as that is what I'm most interested in, but I'm keeping my options open.

Is any of my loved music more than background music to you? :-(
