If you haven't seen both I would watch Eternal Sunshine...and then watch it again. Probably a third time also.

im quite torn really, i fucking love both films.
i'll go with eternal sunshine though, i haven't seen it in ages and im fucking yearning to watch it

if you like the breakfast club watch 16 candles, i like that the best out of all john hughes' 80's teen movies

they are both really good. but you can't compare them, they are so incredibly diffrent it's just dumb to compare them... bottom line watch them both, doesnt matter which first

I give the nod to Eternal Sunshine... although Breakfast Club is a classic.
