yankees arent gonna do shit.haha, they're 3 games back missing pavano, dotel, matsui, cano, and sheffield. thats a #2 starter, a closer, 320 RBIs, 90HRs, and 3, 300+ batting average. They're gonna rake by the end of the year.

you havent watched your team this season have you?
wang is your second best pitcher.
pavano has been absolute garbage in pretty much every game hes played for the yankees.
dotel has suffered about 50 setbacks on his road back so uh, wouldnt be real high on that dude coming in and rescuing the bullpen.
randy johnson is probably hurt judging by his performance both on the mound and in the bullpen before the game today, plus he's pretty much sucked nuts all season before pitching a few good games this month...
matsui will be back soon but sheffield may not return at all.

Dotel has the stuff to be a closer, he'll end up being a top set up man, even though that pen doesn't need rescuing

keep in mind, if the sox lost manny, trot nixon, and loretta, they wouldn't even be close to NY.

dotel isn't going to coem back and just be lights out. plus, his injuries go back to last season as well, not just this year.
pavano's garbage. and will be garbage. matt clement's had a good season before, doesn't mean he was/is the savior of the red sox.
you guys have stayed in the race based upon your pitching staff over achieving. when they come back down to earth, it'll be a different story.
