Long Shot Hero (http://www.longshothero.com) are set to perform one last time on the Ernie Ball Stage at the Vans Warped Tour Stop in Scranton, PA on August 4th. The band will perform with the majority of their original lineup, but will feature Dave Rossi of SGR on drums, as well as Matt Muller from Too Short Notice on guitar.

I remember reading this account from some young band that Long Shot Hero had a problem with and that always made me dislike them.
Oh well a little late to change my mind i suppose.

Yeah thats a perfectly legitamate reason to not like a band you've never seen nor heard.

I'll one-up this...
Not only have I heard this band, I also know that the "young bands" that LSH had their problem with were Time and Distance, as well as Scenes From a Movie. Something about a show where the local band ended up playing last at their show, because SFAM and T&D made the suggestion that most of the kids at the show were probably there to see the local band, as they were promoting the show in that area.
So, LSH posted something in their tour journal that completely bashed SFAM, Time & Distance, not to mention pretty much every band that's not ska, because the two bands from out of town (that no one really knew of, at the time) thought it would help all involved if the unknown bands played first so they could sell merchandise to get money for transportation and such to their next show, and the local band played last, seeing as how they were basically the reason that the show was even happening in the first place.
Where I come from, playing last is an honor. That's how we do it. If I'm playing after a bunch of other bands, I would take pride in this, because that would mean that you're what we call "the HEADLINING act". LSH made a big, semi-to-fully-personal attack on those guys and the entire scene, because he felt differently, and helped (from what I hear) bully both bands into playing SERIOUSLY abridged sets at a show they drove for hours to get to, in the first place.
I'm glad to hear about this final show. Final means no more, and, I'm not so sure that they deserve to be able to play music in front of people.

With that said, I just wondered if anyone knows when RBF's live album is coming out? Cause, yeah, I want it.

I love Longshot Hero a lot and I've been a fan since May 2003 so it sucks that this is their last show and I won't be able to attend.
Also, there is no reason to NOT like them unless their music just isn't your style. They're the sweetest guys in the world.
