My girlfriend and I are going to see Muse at the Garden in Boston this weekend, obviously a big venue. We have GA floor tickets. Now, I've been to a bunch of big shows like this but I have never found it necessary to get there early to get the front row (I usually just push my way up front), so I dont know, but its important to my girlfriend. I guess my question is: Is there usually a line before doors open/how early should you get there to ensure that you get front row on the guardrail?

If it were me, I would get there at least an hour to an hour and a half early before the doors open.

I'd get there atleast 3 hours early if you're trying for front row.

Why aren't you camped out in front of the venue right now

Damn, I'm completely jealous of you. But yeah a couple hours seems safe to get up front.

If a lot of people are just going there for Muse, you might even be able to walk in during one of the openers and get front row.
But I don't really know...

Not entirely on topic, But I don't see the point of being front row. I can usually see just fine, and I get squished less.

being up front is awesome. unless there are barriers, then its not really worth it. i assume this show will have them, so idk how important that is.

I'd say maybe 2 hours or more.

I know for Brand New people will get there like 6 hours before, but they also have a crazy fanbase.

I's just show up a little early, not too much before and just throw elbows to get to the front. But I guess if your girlfriends there too then it might be best to be there earlier.

For Muse? I'd honestly get there at LEAST 2 hours beforehand. Muse has a pretty crazy fanbase, as well. My ex went to a Kings of Leon concert and started waiting at like...1pm for a show that started at 8 or something, and she got front row. There were other people there when she was, as well. I wouldn't see the crowd for KOL being TOO much more than it would be for Muse.

Otherwise, during that initial rush to the stage when the show starts, you could squeeze your way up. Another good time to do it is between set changes, when people go to the bathroom/get water, etc. You might not get front row, but you'll be up in the first 3 or so, guaranteed, if you are nimble enough.

I should be in your shoes right now but my computer froze when they had the general admission presale so I got screwed. Whatever, I have good seats at least. Also I would show up 2 to 3 hours before the doors open.
