the only modern emoish music i listen too, but than again im not really into the whole emo genre so im sure someone can name far better bands than those two or more bands for that matter. best of luck though<3

If you want some quieter stuff check out Elliott and The Appleseed Cast (early stuff).

I second Ampere.

'The end of the ring wars' by Appleseed Cast is astounding as well for quieter stuff.

and if you like Appleseed check out Cap'n Jazz, as it would seem the more indie-rock sorta emo stuff is your taste.

Oh, and since you like Hot Cross, check out Saetia, the singer (Billy Werner)'s old band. More spastic and loud/soft.

well...in our defense, emo bands randomly break up and make new emo bands all the time. i have a hard time keeping track of who's together and who broke up.
