This show is on A & E and usually shows on sundays. It is really quite a good show. It can really scare the shit out of you though, but sometimes thats what you need. Tonight, i believe there is a chiropractor who does Heroin still, thats pretty insane. I love it when the intervention and rehab works and they put their life back together, its one of the few shows that can truly be uplifting and it is really well done. I would highly recommend it to you all.

As weird as this is to say, this is one of my favorite shows. Once you start watching, you get sucked right in. The people they feature, who's lives are so out of control, absolutely blow me away. Although this could essentially happen to anyone, the back story of these people really give you an insight into what may have pushed them to thinking their vice was the only way out. It's quite a unique show, especially when they accept rehabilitation and get their lives straight. I'm a sucker for happy endings, haha.

I'm just wondering for how long the show can keep up...there have already been a few people that caught onto the fact that they were being set up for an intervention. And now that its getting more known & popular, im curious to see how many more they can 'trick' into believing that theyre actually being filmed for a documentery.

The only ones I really look forward to watching still are eating disorder ones because I think that's so much more fucked and stems deeper (usually) than someone who tried meth once and is addicted now. The druggies are just stupid and there's a chemical problem but the eating disorder ones are conscious self esteem problems. So sad to watch and so good to see them get help.

This show is good, I have been watching it for a few years now. But i remember back in the old days they would have a broader range of addictions. One of the most disturbing was the wife who would throw up in freezer bags and store them in her closet and only throw them away like once a week. It was disgusting seeing her carry 3 or 4 huge bags filled to the brim with vomit.

Other than that, I am getting tired of the typical speed users. The two young brothers who were dealing out of their parents house was pretty crazy also, after the show they were sent back to their home country to live with relatives.

WOW Intervention marathon today with a bunch I haven't seen. Right now is this one with two twin girls who are anorexic and it's CRAZY. They literally follow every step each other takes, like from the fridge to the stove even just so the other doesn't burn more calories than them.

And it's so sad cause their parents are first generation Polish immigrants and they're talking about Auschwitz and how skinny people were and it just makes them feel like shit. It's so sad watching these sweet as hell parents say how torn up they are :'(
