i don't understand all the hate for TRJA. i mean, it's nothing special. it's been done before. but there is just so much hate.

I like RJA. They got talent , good vocals. But the cd does lack staying power. It got old pretty quick

i don't think RJA is great but i feel like their is a negative towards them cause they are on tv and little girls drool over the singer. something tells me that if they didn't get as popular as they are it would have gotten a better score, but who knows. I think they are better than 60% though.

it seems like most of the time the "underground" bands get better reviews they the mainstream bands unless its a band like Cartel because the site feels they are reason for the success of the band.

yeah, i actually feel you on that second paragraph. if this site didn't know about a band from the very beginning, and the band seems to "come out of no where," the band is judged by harsher standards. sometimes the band actually is manufactured shit, but sometimes bands fly under the radar of even this site. those in the second category are judged somewhat unfairly.

Thank you.

Of course the CD lacks any sort of staying power, it's not meant to be CD of the century, it's meant to be a fun album for a few listens. It's executed very well, and they will become extremely popular, but so be it.

P!ATD was very popular among this 'scene' until they exploded into the maintream. It's true.

hahah I am not riding a wave of anything, if I liked it I would have said it. I like the new Hawthorne Heights and I really like the new Hellogoodbye, but wait everyone trashes them, so I should too omg

It kinda sucks that the Bouncing Souls album was reviewed almost 2 months after the release date but whatever atleast it was reviewed, thanks Darren. It's such a good summer album.

So you're saying the band purposely made disposable music?

yeah, that's what i noted in the review. What happened is that I received the album late (it went to Linda first, then she held it for a couple weeks waiting for me to request a few more albums so that she could send a package rather than just one), and then I got busy with work and my vacation.

B-)
Tha's ok, i'm not all butt hurt by it being late aslong as it got reviewed. And it's still the summer, perfect time to roll down the windows and blast some Souls.
