INTP:

"INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to most anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves."

That's pretty much me.

I did it cuz Jenna did it <3

ISFP - The "Artist"
ISFPs are artistic, creative, loyal and sensitive. They have a keen appreciation for beauty because of their highly developed senses. They are easy to get along with and live in the "here and now". ISFPs are adaptable, caring, independent and like to contribute to the well-being of others. They are typically hard to get to know.

or

ISFJ - The "Defender"
ISFJs are traditional, loyal, quiet and kind. They are very sensitive to other people's needs because they are very observant. They have rich inner thoughts and emotions. They value stability and cultural norms. They are very adept at giving attention to detail. They do not seek positions of authority.

I suffer from the same breakdown. When I originally took the test at school, the professor interpretting the result said "on extrovert/introvert you scored a positive 30 out of 30 towards extrovert... I guess you're going to tell me how you feel about that?"

Guys and Gals,

This quiz, while describing me quite well is disappointing. The questions provide you with extremes, there was no middle ground.
For example, Do you prefer: Justice or Mercy. You cannot have Justice without mercy, because that is tyranny. And if you have mercy without justice then the whole world will fall apart.
Conclusion, don't take the quiz too seriously and let the jests begin :)

INTP - The "Engineer"

INTPs are logical, individualistic, reserved, and very curious individuals. They focus on ideas, theories and the explanation of how things work. They are especially adept at discussions and debate. They have the ability to focus intently on a subject. They appreciate and respect intelligence in others.

That's accurate.

INFP, apparently I'm a "dreamer" with a "visionary" temperament. It's kinda weird because I don't consider myself to be introverted, admittedly it was only just to "I" side. Interesting quiz, very detailed.

I've read that the meaning of introvert and extrovert for this quiz is different than how people typically interpret those words. For this test your I or E describes how you define yourself or how you orient your thinking, not necessarily how social or agreeable you are. Or something.

I got INFJ, "The Confidant".

They are introspective, caring, sensitive, gentle and complex people that strive for peace and derive satisfaction from helping others. INFJs are highly intuitive, empathetic and dedicated listeners. These traits tend to act as a "tell me what's wrong" sign on their forehead, hence the nicknames Confidant, Counselor or Empath. INFJs are intensely private and deeply committed to their beliefs.

Sounds pretty accurate.

Most of these online personality tests are crap--mere entertainment. The real version, the MBTI, which would be analyzed and scored by a professional, is far superior. They can detect things like faking, careless responding, socially acceptable responding, etc. It also takes a professional to accurately give meaning to various results--two people can be introverts, but their combination of other personality traits will illustrate a very different portrait of each individual (say, suicidal vs. moody). If anyone's interested, I highly recommend seeking out any of the professionally scored tests. They're very telling and insightful. Take multiple tests at different points in your life for the most accurate results.

(Yes, they cost money).

I've taken this test a few times. Every time I take this test I get a different result. ENFP, INFJ, INFP. :-|

As you can see, this test has terrible reliability. A good personality test will generally give you the same result every time, even years later.

How can you tell someone they answered the questions on a personality test wrong? That is literally impossible to do. It's a personality test, you can't do it wrong. Do you know how many different unofficial versions there are of this test? And with questions like, "Do you consider yourself more subjective or objective?" And vague dichotomies like, "Are you more tough-minded or soft-hearted?" It's easy to see how one's results could change over time depending on the version of the test given and the questions asked. The results will inevitably vary. That doesn't mean I did the test "wrong." It's a personality test. Lol.

Just because it's a personality test, doesn't mean it's impossible to do it wrong. If you didn't understand some of the words, or if you clicked the wrong box by mistake, then you would have done it wrong. Not saying you did.

Oh, haha. It sounded like you were trying to figure out on your own what your results were going to be.

General: ENFPs are both "idea"-people and "people"-people, who see everyone and everything as part of an often bizarre cosmic whole. They want to both help (at least, their own definition of "help") and be liked and admired by other people, on bo th an individual and a humanitarian level. They are interested in new ideas on principle, but ultimately discard most of them for one reason or another.

I didn't know myself this well, but yes, accurate.

ISFP-

disorganized, timid, prone to discouragement, socially uncomfortable, does not like leadership, suggestible, not self confident, not aggressive, lower energy, fearful, anxious, easily distracted, prone to discontentment, guarded, not confrontational, prone to longing for a stabilizing relationship, can be overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings, easily disturbed, fears drawing attention to self, prone to confusion, private, second guesses self, prone to quitting, underachiever, fears rejection in relationships, emotionally moody, prone to sadness, dislikes change, indecisive, modest, doubting, prone to laziness.

Literally every single word on that list describes me perfectly.

ESFP - The "Entertainer"

ESFPs are cooperative, "here and now" people-persons that enjoy excitement and love new adventures. Because of their highly social nature, they are especially lively when they are the center of attention and hate being alone. ESFPs have a practical side that allows them to finish work efficiently and are often good problem solvers.
