Bands/clubs/shows in San Diego?

Any suggestions for bands to see/clubs to check out/shows to hit while I'm in San Diego? I'll be there August 12-17

Umm.. you can head over to somasd.com they have a list of shows coming up. The closest one that is coming up while you'll be there is Reeve Oliver.
Also The Living End will be playing a show at House of Blues San Diego on the 16th.
