For a long time I haven't been able to fall asleep without the aid of music...
what are your favorite songs or albums to fall alseep to?

Jonsi & Alex- Riceboy Sleeps really takes the cake though. I honestly don't think I've ever been awake to listen to more than the first 3 tracks.

i'm kind of the opposite, nowadays i can't fall asleep unless it's quiet. but i used to fall asleep to vanessa carlton - harmonium, straylight run - s/t, or brand new - deja entendu pretty frequently.

Um Straylight Run's self titled, Bayside's Acoustic (along with basically anything else acoustic), Blue October's Foiled. I know there's more, but I can't recall them all.
Also, surprised no one has mentioned Angels & Airwaves yet. All those cds knock me out quick. And I usually dream of space haha.

I find myself falling asleep to U2 the most/easiest. Could be that I'm so used to them. But The Joshua Tree is a good album to fall to sleep to regardless.

i seriously have a cheap alarm clock/cd player beside my bed that has the explosions in the sky album How Strange, Innocence in it and hasn't been moved in years.
it is for sleep purposes only and it works great.

Album Leaf is always a safe bet for me. Also, any American Analog Set works. Black Heart Procession sometimes, but it has a tendency to creep me out if I wake up and it's still playing.
