Photo Finish Records (http://www.photofinishrecords.com) has signed Envy On The Coast (http://www.envyonthecoast.com). The press release is below.
Envy on the Coast will be the first official release from Photo Finish Records, the new label founded by Matt Galle, the booking agent for My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, and manager of Producer Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco). Photo Finish Records introduced ourselves with a stage at this year’s Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey and a SXSW showcase w/ shirts for a cure.
Envy On The Coast presents the next wave of music from Long Island, NY as recently declared by Newsday. They take influence from other Long Island bands Glassjaw, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New etc., but also draw elements from Scene elders Far or the Deftones.
The band is currently on the road with 30 Seconds To Mars, and following that they will hit the road with recent Capitol signees Saosin. Envy on the Coast’s self-titled EP will hit the streets on September 5th.
