so the group on campus that books concerts and stuff is looking into different shows to do for the fall semester. one of the bands they're looking into is Every Time I Die, so any ideas for good openers?

That's a tough question....since they've toured with pretty much everyone. I must say seeing them with Thursday was the best I've seen them.

personally, I'd book some local acts. but I don't know your scene so I don't know if that'd work out or not.

I'd love to see ETID/PTW/Evergreen Terrace. That would be unreal.

maylene played in the area last year. there is a pretty decent hardcore/metal scene in the area, so there are already a TON of local shows.

i like the idea of evergreen terrace or PTW though.

is it just me or am i the only one that is disapointed with there tour thats comeing up.
i mean chiodos and atreyu are good bands but from first to last?
not to mention 23bucks :/ ::sigh:: maybe next time

cute is what we aim for is quite possibly one of the worst bands I've ever heard.

I like a few bands that are signed to Victory: BTBAM, Comeback Kid, With Honor.
I don't however like The Sleeping because they are quite terrible and they are also boring as hell.

book them with misery signals. cant go wrong. ferret would probably back it, maybe throw in some maylene and the sons of disaster for good measure too.

Sorry, but this is a dumb question. Very rarely can you just mix and match bands that are on separate tours across the country. Sure, we'd all love to see dream tours with great bands but it just doesn't work like that. You can't just chose another "big" (as far as independent musicians go) band and expect to get them to open on that date. Book a lucky local band. Maybe hold a battle of the bands to raise money and then the winner can open?

Like I said Down to Nothing because they're from Virginia, and this person's trying to book some college show in Virginia.
