The new CD isn't really too much of a Botch influenced CD; more like a Define The Great Line influecned one..save the Botch jokes for The Chariot's new CD.

OMG im sooooo pissed i had no idea ross robinson produced this cd......ohh i hope he doesnt mess things up like he did with from first to last. Norma Jean is much better band than from first to last so ill be extremely pissed......i mean he did great things with At The Drive-In but they are untouchable and for Korn and slipnot i have no words for how terrible those bands.

I think whoever wanted a review was basing it on the fact that it leaked a few days ago.

Haha! Love the artwork, it's pretty hard to beat out O God's.. Being nominated for a grammy and all.. But it looks like it will come close!
Norma Jean is sick with it.

haha very true.
The song on myspace sounds similar to Define the Great Line. I just think they and Underoath were sharing influences. I don't think Norma Jean wouldn't be influenced by Underoath though I guess its possible.

personally i thought they showed so much promise with blueprints for future homes... but the rest of the album is just the same old crap they used to put out... at least the first few times i've listened to it it seems like it is... i guess i'll give it time, i thought they grew up a whole lot with blueprints, but im starting to think it was a one off thing.

Thats a relief. I love Define the Great Line but I don't want to here it again. I can't wait for Redeemer.

I am listening to the cd now.....and so far it is just ok. nothing special. it is really different than anything they have ever done. its kind of a wierd cd. vocals have improved since the last cd and music has too. i would say its worth buying.
